Common questions about IKEA kitchen cabinet installation in Elizabeth, Union County, NJ. Get answers about pricing, timeline, and our installation process.
You certainly can pick up your own order, and many Elizabeth residents do. However, we recommend letting us coordinate the delivery and verify all items because IKEA kitchen orders typically contain dozens of boxes. Our team inspects every component upon arrival to ensure nothing is missing or damaged, which prevents delays once installation day arrives.
Thanks to our proximity to both IKEA Elizabeth and our local warehouse, we can often begin installations in Elizabeth within one to two weeks of your order arriving. During slower seasons, we may be able to start even sooner. We always recommend booking as early as possible to secure your preferred dates.
Yes, kitchen islands are one of our most requested installation services. We securely anchor IKEA island configurations to the floor and ensure proper clearance around all sides. If your island requires plumbing or electrical connections, you'll need a licensed plumber or electrician for that work. Elizabeth homes with open-plan kitchen and dining areas are ideal candidates for an island installation.
Absolutely. While IKEA offers its own countertop options, many Elizabeth homeowners choose custom granite, quartz, or butcher block countertops from local fabricators. Our team installs the IKEA base cabinets with precision leveling so that your countertop fabricator can template and install a seamless surface on top.
