About Kitchen Removal

A proper kitchen removal sets the stage for a successful new installation. Rushing this step can damage walls, flooring, and plumbing, leading to costly repairs down the line. Our removal team works methodically, disconnecting services first, then removing components in the correct sequence to protect the surrounding structure.

We start by disconnecting water supply lines, drain connections, electrical circuits, and gas lines (through our licensed partners). Appliances are carefully removed and either set aside for your reuse, donated, or hauled to a recycling facility. We then remove countertops, detach wall and base cabinets, and strip splashbacks and wall tiles.

Wall repair is a critical part of the process. Removing cabinets and tiles inevitably leaves anchor holes, adhesive residue, and sometimes damaged drywall. We patch holes, scrape adhesive, and skim-coat damaged sections so the walls are smooth and ready for your new splashback or paint.

Flooring under old cabinets is often missing or in poor condition. We assess the subfloor and advise whether a patch, leveling compound, or full replacement is needed before new cabinets go in. Getting the floor right at this stage prevents problems with cabinet leveling later.

All debris is sorted for responsible disposal. Wood, metal, and cardboard are separated for recycling, and we haul everything away in a single trip. You are left with a clean, swept space and a detailed condition report noting any plumbing, electrical, or structural items to address before the new kitchen is installed.

How It Works

1

Service Disconnection

Water, electrical, and gas services are safely disconnected. We cap or isolate all lines to prevent leaks or hazards during the removal process.

2

Appliance Removal

All appliances are carefully removed and staged for reuse, donation, or recycling according to your preference.

3

Cabinet, Countertop & Splashback Removal

Countertops are detached, cabinets are unscrewed and removed, and splashbacks or tiles are stripped from the walls with care to minimize wall damage.

4

Wall & Floor Preparation

We patch wall holes, scrape adhesive residue, and assess the subfloor condition. Any issues that could affect the new installation are documented.

5

Debris Haul-Away & Cleanup

All materials are sorted for recycling, loaded, and hauled away. The space is swept clean and a condition report is provided.
